What is Cholelithiasis?
Gallstones, listed in Section 5 of every approved GLP-1 label.
Wegovy reports 1.6% against 0.7% on placebo; Saxenda 2.2% against 0.8%. The He et al. 2022 meta-analysis pooled the class risk at RR 1.37 (95% CI 1.23–1.52). Rapid weight loss of any cause raises the risk, so this is not unique to the drugs.
