Everything published on GLP Watchdog — the seller entries, scores, price records, enforcement findings, research articles and every calculator or tool on the site — exists to describe a market. The mistake this page most wants to prevent

A cheaper seller is not a better treatment. This site ranks companies on price, licensing and conduct, and a seller can score well here while being entirely wrong for you — wrong drug, wrong dose, wrong decision to be taking one at all. Whether a GLP-1 is appropriate for you, and which one, is a clinical question no comparison table can answer. Take that question to a prescriber and use this site for the question it does answer: what a company charges and how it behaves.

Talk to a qualified professional

Ask your physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant or pharmacist about any condition, medication, dose, interaction or side effect, and about any decision to start, stop, switch or change a treatment. Do not disregard advice you have been given, or put off getting it, because of something you read here.

Symptoms that warrant urgent care with these medications include severe or persistent abdominal pain, especially pain radiating to the back; persistent vomiting or an inability to keep fluids down; signs of a severe allergic reaction such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, or difficulty breathing; symptoms of very low blood sugar including confusion, shaking, sweating or fainting; and sudden changes in vision. We do not prescribe, dispense, compound, ship or handle any medication, and we do not process orders. We are also not an agent of any company in the register. If you buy from one, your contract is with them. We cannot cancel a subscription, obtain a refund, release a shipment or intervene in a dispute.

Where drug information comes from

Clinical statements are taken from FDA-approved prescribing information and from PubMed-indexed trial publications cited by PMID. We do not source clinical claims from press releases, seller marketing or other comparison sites. Labels are revised and trials continue to report, so treat anything here as current to its stated date, and treat the approved label as authoritative over us.

No clinician currently reviews this material before publication. Pages carrying clinical content say so on their face rather than implying medical review. That is a limitation you should weigh.

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved products

Much of this market sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. Compounded drugs are not reviewed or approved by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality, and the agency’s findings about any one facility do not transfer to another. Where we record that a product is compounded, that describes its regulatory status. It is neither an endorsement nor a warning about any particular vial.

Results vary, and trial numbers are not promises

Weight-loss figures from clinical trials are averages, measured under trial conditions, in enrolled populations, usually alongside diet and activity support. Individual results differ widely, and any figure we cite describes a study rather than predicting your outcome. Anything on this site that estimates a result for you is arithmetic on numbers you entered, not a clinical projection.

Interactions, contraindications and warnings

Nothing here is a complete account of the interactions, contraindications or warnings for any medication. These drugs carry boxed warnings and specific contraindications, and their interaction profiles depend on the rest of your medication list, which we cannot see. Your pharmacist and prescriber can. Ask them before combining anything.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and trying to conceive

This gets its own paragraph because the interaction is easy to miss. These medications are not recommended in pregnancy, and there are known effects on hormonal contraception. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or might become pregnant, that is a conversation to have with a clinician before starting rather than after. We do not run seller promotions on pages covering these topics.

No off-label guidance

Where we describe a use outside a drug’s approved labeling, we are recording that the use exists and is discussed, not advising it. Off-label prescribing is a decision for a licensed prescriber exercising clinical judgment for a specific patient. We give no dosing instruction, titration schedule or protocol for any use, approved or otherwise.

Prices and availability move

Every price here is a fact about the day it was captured, and sellers change them without notice. State availability, formulary and pharmacy partners change too. Confirm current terms with the company before paying anything.

Telling us something clinical is wrong

Report it. Send the page URL, the exact claim, and the label section or paper you believe is authoritative, via the contact page. Verified errors are corrected on the page with a dated note saying what changed, per the corrections policy. Clinical errors are the ones we most want to hear about.
