Qsymia Storage at a Glance
Source: Qsymia FDA prescribing information via DailyMed (SetID 40dd5602-53da-45ac-bb4b-15789aba40f9), Section 16.2 How Supplied/Storage and Handling, read on 2026-07-12. Treat this as a summary: the full label and the patient instructions in your box are the authority.
Handling the tablet or capsule
Leave tablets and capsules in the sealed container they came in rather than moving them to a weekly organizer. Moisture is the enemy here, and it is what most oral GLP-1 and weight-management labels specifically warn about.
Traveling with Qsymia
Moisture, not light, is what this capsule's label guards against, so the container matters more than the bag. The phentermine in it also makes this a Schedule IV controlled substance, which changes how you pack it. Carry it in the labeled container the pharmacy dispensed — airport screening and some state rules expect controlled substances to arrive in their own prescription packaging.
